GIS Day 2019 Heading link
GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and visualization techniques allow us to organize, analyze, and communicate data. GIS Day 2019 showcases a range of techniques exploring different aspects of Community and Global Disparities. UIC GIS Day 2019 included a keynote speaker, talks, a panel, a poster session and competition, and a hands on-workshop.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and visualization techniques allow us to organize, analyze, and communicate data. GIS Day 2018 was an opportunity to celebrate innovative projects that use these techniques, network with other users, and participate in hands-on applications of the technologies. Whether new to these technologies or an expert, GIS Day gave students the chance to see examples of data visualization work, stay informed on the latest developments, and think more about how these techniques can be applied to their classwork, to their research, and in their career.
